Façamos!



Hoje enquanto conduzia a Rádio Marginal surpreendeu-me com uma versão brasileira do clássico "Let's Do It" (Let's Fall in Love), de Cole Porter.

Agradou-me a interpretação em duo, por Chico Buarque e a soberba Elza Soares, e sobretudo a adaptação do original da letra para o português. Elza, na foto, é conhecida como "a negra de voz rouca e inconfundível". Filha de uma lavadeira e de um operário, nasceu, em junho de 1937, na favela da Água Santa e tem uma voz que é um misto da rouquidão de Armstrong e o sentimento de Holiday!
